Art at the Musuem this week

My friend Alicia, helped in setting up an installation for Dan Steinhilber at the Musuem of Art on campus. Steinhilber uses everyday objects to examine the world, amazing that it is, all around us. That is my kind of artist. If you are trying to teach something, you have use examples people are familiar with. I feel like I get him. When I was a freshman, I used to collect packet from fast food places. I stapled them together and put them all over my bare door walls. He did something similar, though much more beautiful. I've always loved my sense of sight and touch, and I think his art is so experiential because it gives me the option to use both of those senses to have an experience with his art.
